Royal Family Kids' Camp of Anchorage serves sixty 7-11 year olds who are part of the foster care system. Each child is paired with another child and a loving volunteer staff person (Cousin).
Many volunteers are needed before camp to prepare, assist with fund raising,and fill Birthday backpacks. During camp there are many volunteer opportunities. When the staff returns they are treated to a "Welcome Home Dinner" a very nice meal and a time to share about their week. RFKC of Anchorage utilizes 10,000 volunteer hours each year.
